Senior Consultant – Transfer Pricing
Take ownership of complex transfer pricing engagements, advise multinational clients and help develop the next generation of tax professionals.

Your impact
Reporting to the Transfer Pricing Manager or Director, you will manage engagements from planning through delivery while acting as the day-to-day contact for assigned clients.
- Engagement deliveryOwn Local File, Master File, CbCR notification and Form 01/TP disclosure engagements under Transfer Pricing regulation and the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines.
- Benchmarking & economic analysisDesign search strategies, perform and review studies using TP Catalyst, Orbis or equivalent databases, and defend comparable selection and tested-party positions.
- AdvisoryLead functional interviews, value-chain and intercompany-transaction analyses; propose policies, pricing structures and related-party agreement wording; support APA and restructuring projects.
- Tax audit & dispute supportPrepare defence files, explanation letters and reconciliation schedules, and participate in working sessions with tax authorities during inspections and appeals.
- Review & quality controlReview deliverables prepared by consultants and associates, ensuring internal documentation and quality standards are met before Manager review.
- Client & project managementManage information requests, timelines, expectations, budgets, recovery and billing; identify additional service needs and escalate scope changes or delays promptly.
- People developmentCoach and appraise junior team members and deliver internal technical training on transfer pricing and international tax topics.
- Technical updatesMonitor Vietnamese regulations, BEPS 2.0, Pillar Two and industry developments, translating them into internal knowledge materials and client alerts.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, Taxation or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant transfer pricing or international tax experience, preferably with an audit or advisory firm; Big 4 or mid-tier experience is an advantage.
- Solid knowledge of Vietnamese transfer pricing regulations and the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, with the ability to apply them to real client situations.
- Ability to independently prepare a complete transfer pricing documentation set and review the work of others.
- Hands-on experience with financial databases such as TP Catalyst or Orbis, plus strong Excel and financial-analysis skills.
- Strong analytical and technical writing skills, with client-ready English drafting and good verbal communication.
- A coaching mindset, strong ownership and the ability to manage several engagements in parallel under deadline pressure.
